After graduating from university, he completed his military service as a private in the Manisa and Turkish Cypriot forces regiment in 1998.

In 2003, he founded Parallel Media and established a media company serving municipalities. In the first year following this, ixir made an investment in fm radio and Havadis Newspaper.
