Alparslan Sukan, who has been in the catering industry since 1983, received “Hotel and Restaurant Management” training in the USA after his Robert College education. For more than 38 years, it has served in the catering sector with the brands “Gourmet” and “Special Tastes” in Turkey and abroad, and since 1989 it continues to provide training and consultancy services in the catering sector. Alparslan Sukan, who took part in the first program of the American Hotel and Lodging Association (AHLA) in Turkey by giving restaurant and food and beverage courses, took place in Marmara University, Istanbul University, Yeditepe University, Swissotel Hotel Management School, Özyeğin University, Boğaziçi University and USLA, respectively. He has taught restaurant service, cost control, food hygiene, restaurant management, revenue management and menu planning courses in Hotel and Restaurant Management programs. He is currently the consultant of Haliç University Gastronomy Department and continues to give lectures at Faruk Saraç Vocational School Continuing Education Center.
Alparslan Sukan, who is also the Founder Consultant in the cooperation between the Laurate Group and Eresin Tourism Vocational High School, has been the Habitat II City Summit Conference Valley Catering Coordinator, in concerts of world-class artists such as Michael Jackson, Madonna, Scorpions, Rolling Stones and Cirque de Soleil “Saltimbanco” and “Alegria” shows, he was the consultant of the special catering team of the artists.
Alparslan Sukan, who has provided food and beverage service training to DoysaAir private jet service team, Orsa Group senior management service team and Sitil factory senior management service team, has over the years, Bebek Susam, Sanden Restaurant, Wienerwald Turkey, Punto Restaurants, Panino Giusto. He also provided consultancy to brands such as Milano and Keskinoğlu Tavvuk in various fields. Between 1991 and 1992, he was the coordinator of the Gölcük Shipyard Admiral Hall renovation project, and in 2006, he worked as a consultant in Göktürk, Istanbul’s first authentic American Dinner Restaurant, “Checker’s Diner”, from the project stage to its opening, and took part in the business for a while after the opening.
Abroad, in the U.S. He has done the turnkey establishment of “Nick’s Kitchen Mediterranean Cuisine” in Los Angeles and “Ariya Restaurant” in Iranian Zancan cities and still continues to provide consultancy for two different projects in Iran, Tehran.
Alparslan Sukan is still the founding partner of Özel Tatlar Butik Catering company and carries out catering, training and consultancy works together.
